About Me

Hi, I’m Satya - a forever curious maker.
The Happy Collective (THC) is my heart project. It was born out of a simple need: to slow down and reconnect with the things that make me feel alive. I started with ceramics — hand-painting late at night, surrounded by music, incense, and the comforting chaos of my little space. It wasn’t perfect, but it was mine. And it made me happy.
That word — happy — kept coming back. Not in the Instagram-perfect way, but in the quiet, grounded way. The kind that shows up when you’re creating something from scratch, hosting a workshop where strangers become friends, or sending off a tile that makes someone smile, or gifting your loved ones with your hand made objects. THC is a collection of those moments —
the messy, soulful, handmade kind.
It’s all part of one big, evolving practice: living slowly and making things that feel like me.
The Happy Collective (THC) began as a simple idea: to create and collect the things that make me happy—and to share that feeling with others, one handmade piece at a time.
Rooted in the belief that joy lives in the details, THC is a homegrown studio based in Mumbai where ceramics, hand-painted tiles, papier-mâché, and other evolving materials come to life. Every object here is made slowly, intentionally, and with a touch of cheek, calm, or color— because beauty doesn’t have to be loud, and art doesn’t have to be complicated.
I find inspiration in everyday life—in body language, old postcards, playful patterns, sunlit stillness, and the charm of imperfection. You’ll see that in each tile, curve, and brushstroke.
Some pieces are bold and sensual. Others are soft and nostalgic. All of them are deeply personal.
THC is my happy place.
I hope it becomes a small part of yours too.
